Benninghoff, House Committee to Examine Funding of PA State Police

WHAT: Republican Chairman Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin) and fellow members of the House Transportation Committee will host an informational meeting to examine use of the Motor License Fund to supplement the budget of the Pennsylvania State Police. The fund is supported by the gas tax and portions of vehicle registration and driver’s license fees.

WHO: Testifiers include representatives from PennDOT, including Acting Secretary Mike Carroll; the Association of Pennsylvania Constructors and the American Council of Engineering Companies.

WHEN: (TODAY) Tuesday, April 11 at noon.

WHERE: 515 Irvis Office Building, State Capitol.
